Far better than fruits and veggies in a capsule
The problem with greens in a capsule:
No idea where the ingredients come from.
Food Adulteration ( adulteration means “fake” basically) is a big problem in China and India where most of the ingredients in these “fruits and veggies” capsules come from. Now I’m not saying they 100% have fake ingredients, but what I am saying is they for sure don’t have any proof that they are not fake.
They are not tested for heavy metals.
They claim they are , but if you ask to see the actual lab report, you’ll be met with crickets, which may as well mean they don’t.
They are not certified organic
Meaning you don’t know the levels of pesticides they might have.
You don’t get nearly as much
PUR360 greens gets you nearly 4 servings of veggies, while the capsules only get you one.
What about other super green powders?
The issue here is the same as that with capsules. No heavy metals testing results for you to see and no purity testing results for you to see. Plus they are oven dried with high heat, reducing much of the beneficial nutrients. PUR360 greens are freeze dried at a much lower temperature, preserving much more of the beneficial nutrients.
Another issue is most of those super green mixes have wheat or barley grass as the main ingredient. When doctors talk about all the benefits of vegetables, they are not referring to wheat and barley grass.
